Het historische deel van Fairon ligt in een kom van de vallei en loopt naar beneden af richting de rivier. De monumentale kasteelhoeve is een kijkje waard. Op het binnenplein werd vroeger recht gesproken. Nadien, rond 1900, werd de hoeve opgedeeld in woningen.
